Actually Need Help With Chore Split (its a me problem)

Good morning. I think I legitimately need someone to be an adult for me here and tell me whats right. I grew up in a very, very rough home so I wasnt taught "adult skills" (as in i had to ask how to get a cell phone and get car insurance...and how to properly shower). I also wasnt ever around anything other than SAHMs so the woman always did everything. To set the stage: I (29F)grew up in a very cluttered (not dirty) house with 7 kids and two adults. Very poor, like, wouldnt have been able to feed everyone if we didnt have a garden. Extremely rural (30 min drive to the nearest school/grocery), farming. Partner (32M) grew up in the city also somewhat poor, but with a clean house (all clutter was hidden in closets and storage units), and, until we moved in together, took care of his mom (lived with her and paid her rent and such). She barely worked part time, and spent a lot of her free time fastidiously cleaning. All this to say we have very different ideas of cleanliness. Also we do have a dog and a cat. Current situation: I now work 20h a week due to medical issues. They are somewhat solved now, but i still struggle with symptoms depending on the day. He works more than full time most weeks. We make almost exactly the same amount of money. He pays a bit more for bills overall. I pay half the mortgage, but not including the taxes/escrows because its his house, and half of shared bills when he tells me the total (granted he doesnt always tell me even though I do ask). We are going through some issues, so we are essentially doing a trial seperation (seperate bedrooms, each do our own grocery/laundry etc.) and couples counsling. We are not fighting about chores, this is for my own understanding. Issue: Could someone explain how one would equitably split chores in our current situation? Could someone explain how one would split chores if we werent doing the seperation? Do additional things like vegitable garden, renovation projects, and decluttering count as chores? And if so how do i factor those in? Im trying not to bring emotion/our relationship issues into this, so im being kinda calculating and vague, but ill answer questions as needed. TLDR: I don't know what equitable chore standards are, please help.
